“Excitement is building as Christmas approaches for Diana Aud Wallem Johanssen and husband Michael. This will be the first they spend in their little home in the Danish forest, and the first with both of their girls – Edith, two, and Norma, four months. “Christmas starts with finding the perfect tree and bringing it home – easy when you live in the forest,” says Diana. The converted farmhouse on the edge of Unterød forest, near Ringsted in Denmark, certainly has the right setting for a cosy Christmas with its thatched roof and white plaster walls, like a gingerbread house.
