♥ PROUDLY HOMEMADE Abar of soap is surely summer’s friend: not only useful for taking away with you on holiday, but one sniff can also transport you back there. If you want to start making your own soaps, you can experiment with pre-made melt-and-pour. However, this soap is made using the more traditional cold-process. At its most basic, you start with an oil (like olive oil), add the correct amount of lyewater (a mixture of sodium hydroxide and water), blend the two together, pour the resulting batter into a mould, let it sit for a day or two and you’ll have soap.
