We all know that life is busy and it can be tricky to find time to spend with your mates. Reconnect by inviting your female friends over for an afternoon in the garden to enjoy each other’s company and take a mindful pause. ‘Women’s circles’ bring women together with the intention to talk, listen and make connections in a relaxed and nurturing environment (The Simple Things, June 2022). When surrounded by nature and good food to share, conversation can flow. You may have the ideal activity in mind, however, journalling or picture cards to inspire chat and reflection are a good starting point, too.
