MAKE (AND USE) YOUR OWN BAROMETER

You will need: Empty jar or can, without lid Balloon (not inflated) Scissors Elastic band Tape or glue Drinking straw Paper Pen 1 After cutting the neck off your balloon, stretch it tight over the opening of your container. Use the elastic band to secure. 2 Lay the straw across the diameter of the balloon surface, making sure one end extends out over the edge of the container. Stick in place. 3 Position the jar so the straw points at the wall. Avoid placing near windows or radiators. 4 Stick your paper on the wall, marking the point level with the end of the straw.
