My day in cups of tea

We asked seamstress Abi Currer to tell us a bit about her day in cuppas – and how she encourages others to stitch like a Strictly pro

Morning, how early do you start on the tea? Weekdays, there’s no time before the school run. I’ll get my first cuppa around 10am. Weekends, my husband Ed brings me tea in bed – the greatest of luxuries! Agreed! Tell us a bit about your work. I’ve two areas of work. The first is Cotton Club, where I run classes for adults and children in my local community centre, teaching them to sew – core skills and new techniques. I’m also a seamstress for bridal boutique, Lily Jacobs, making dress alterations at home, with fittings interspersed throughout the day. What do you love best about it?
