THINGS TO NOTE AND NOTICE Sunset hour It might still be too chilly to eat outside most evenings, but cooking outdoors is a lovely way to enjoy the last of the daylight, especially if you’ve been commuting or working indoors all day. Something simple using a few herbs from your garden will help it feel more of an event; perhaps an omelette or frying pan pizza, cooked over a fire. Time it so you can head indoors with your food just as it gets dark. As an added bonus, once it’s dark you won’t be able to see the washing up outside, so you can ignore it until the morning.
