Avanti West Coast On delivery on February 11, Avanti West Coast-liveried Class 807, No. 807005 left York at 06.17 to run as 5Q15 north on the East Coast Main Line to Edinburgh, then to Carlisle (dep 12.40) and then southwards on the West Coast Main Line to Wembley Depot in London (arr 17.35). The 15.00 Euston to Holyhead on February 20, formed of Class 805 Nos. 805001+805003 as far as Chester, arrived at Crewe 25 minutes late. It then stood for another 12 minutes because of“further problems with the train’s computer system”. No. 805003 was detached at Chester, as booked, leaving No. 805001 to go forward 34 minutes late. On February 24, the 1M08/07.36 Glasgow to London Euston was delayed at Carstairs whilst the train was turned using the triangle.…
