Backed by 21,000 fans back on March 25, 1955, the Minstermen held Newcastle United to a replay after a 1-1 draw at Hillsborough, becoming the first third tier side ever to do so.
And although they lost the replay 2-0 at Sunderland's Roker Park, the epic run lives long in the memory for those in the stands cheering on their side.
So next month, 33 supporters will be hosted by the YCST in the National League club's Jorvik Lounge when they take on Wealdstone.
As well as a pre-match dinner, there will be also be a Q&A with former City player Iain Dunn as the fans share their favourite memories.
"The youngest is 79 and I've spoken to 92 and 94 year olds," Trust board member Terry Espiner said. "All bar two were at the semi-final. One couldn't get there because the boarding school he was at wouldn't let him out on the Saturday. The other had been called up for national service and was abroad having got as far as the fifth round.

"It's gone off the scale. We just never knew we had that many people from that era still alive and kicking - many still go down to watch the match!"
