Sure, we got Blades of Steel here, but not every hockey game made its way from Japan to North America. Here are five interesting examples

5 JAPANESE VIDEO GAMES WE DIDN’T GET 1. BULL FIGHTER Arcade Game, 1984 Why is this game called Bull Fighter? Probably for the same reason that a famous game about a giant ape tossing barrels is called Donkey Kong: poor translation. Besides its confusing title, this game has a few other lost-in-translation moments, such as a voice yelling “IN GOAL!” when a goal is scored, and a message flashing “YOU ARE WIN” when your team is victorious. Regardless, it’s still a good game. Bull Fighter has nice graphics and catchy music…as well as some oddness that we might expect in a Japanese game, such as cheerleaders (at a hockey game?), players turning into cartoon animals and a space shuttle spelling out “WONDERFUL” in its exhaust after you win. 2.
