> SOMETIMES, THE NHL draft can bring a bit of kismet. For defenseman Colin Ralph, getting selected 48th overall by St. Louis in 2024 meant his future will be yoked to a city he knows quite well, even though he was born and raised in Minnesota. “It was crazy,” Ralph said. “Kind of a full-circle moment for me because I lived in St. Louis my sophomore year (of high school). I was talking to my buddies about what it would be like going back there, so it’s pretty exciting.
