PROSPECTS HAVE LONG BEEN a pillar here at The Hockey News, which is why we added the Prospects Unlimited issue in 2016. Before that, we had Draft Preview, which obviously helped readers prepare for the NHL draft, while we also put out Future Watch, which gave readers a sense of which draft picks their team had gotten right in the past few seasons. Prospects Unlimited bridged the two by focusing on drafted and about-to-be players. But putting together these issues would not be possible without the input we get from the scouts who work for NHL teams.
