ALL THAT GLITTERS HAS not been gold in Canada’s capital, as the Senators have again fallen well below expectations in 2023-24. That said, the upside is still there among the current crop of young NHLers and prospects. Between a pair of goaltenders with legitimate big-league upside, solid forwards with sandpaper who can slot into the bottom six and a crop of defensemen who can fit into multiple roles, the Senators have a solid prospect pool with room to mature.
