NOT SO LONG AGO, the Kings stockpiled high-end assets by the barrel. While that deep well of rich reserves hasn’t entirely dried up, it has been tapped into considerably. As prospects have been refined and delivered to Los Angeles or shipped out for veteran help, the pipeline no longer flows quite so freely. Still, the Kings can strike it rich with premium prospect Brandt Clarke, ninth last year league-wide and fifth this year.
