In honor of International Women’s Day on March 8, here are eight cards featuring some of the most memorable women in hockey

1. HAYLEY WICKENHEISER (CANADA) 1997-98 Collector’s Choice #279 Hayley Wickenheiser represented Canada from 1994 to 2016, winning gold medals in four Olympics and seven World Championships. She was also the first woman to play a position other than goalie in a men’s pro hockey game, when she suited up for HC Salamat in Finland in 2002-03. Wickenheiser is Canada’s all-time leading scorer in women’s hockey, with 168 goals and 379 points in 276 international games and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2019. Wickenheiser’s rookie card is found in the 1997-98 Collector’s Choice set, which includes 20 Canadian women’s players. 2. CAMMI GRANATO (UNITED STATES) 1993 Classic ’93 Hockey Draft #66 Cammi Granato was the captain of the U.S. team that won gold at the 1998 Olympics and silver at the 2002…
