THE ROAD TO A starting job for a netminder in major junior can be a winding one. The path is rarely as linear as being drafted, inserted as the backup and then given the opportunity to earn the No. 1 role. Often, the journey goes through small towns, various levels of competition and plenty of ups and downs. That’s been the case for Owen Sound rookie netminder Carter George.
