CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS IT SAYS A LOT about the state of play in Chicago that the Blackhawks’ ability to sell is actually an improvement on last season’s situation. Back then, a confluence of events resulted in GM Kyle Davidson off-loading just one player for a solitary fifth-round pick before the 2024 deadline. This time around, Davidson will be open for business. But how attractive his assets are to contenders will be limited given this season’s iteration of the Hawks is no better, and perhaps somehow worse, than last year’s.
