Brock McGillis’ Shift Makers Tour continues to impact the hockey world as it rolls through its second season

IN 2023-24, BROCK MCGILLIS set out to visit 100 minor-hockey teams in 100 days to shift hockey culture into a space of inclusion and positivity. Now, with the backing of a variety of corporate partners, that goal continues with a second season of 100 in 100. The Shift Makers Tour was born from McGillis’ passion for advocacy and what he believes is a necessity for the future of hockey. “Before I started the tour, I was speaking to schools and saw a lot of people struggling in and out of hockey, and my social-media DMs were filled with young people who were having a tough go,” he said.
