AFTER GRADUATING from the University of New Hampshire, Steve Metcalf spent more than two decades in athletic administration at his alma mater. He became the commissioner of the Hockey East conference in 2020 and also currently serves as president of the NCAA’s Hockey Commissioners Association and the board chair of College Hockey Inc. THE HOCKEY NEWS: How involved were you in the path that led to last fall’s NCAA Div. I council vote that will allow CHL players into NCAA hockey?
