B-| RANK: 18TH AS THE FLAMES EMBARK on a youth movement – not entirely rebuilding but certainly adjusting the average age – you might think their prospect pool lacks depth. You’d be wrong. While graduating the likes of Connor Zary, Matt Coronato and Martin Pospisil the past couple of years, there are plenty remaining. One big reason is the Flames had what was arguably their best-ever draft last June. With a focus on high-end skill, Calgary landed a pair of first-rounders who look like future stars.
