LINKEDIN.COM/IN/ROUSTAN A COUPLE OF DECADES AGO, long before The Hockey News digital Archive, which contains every issue dating back to 1947, was unveiled to the world in 2024, THN launched what is now an outdated app, which is now being retired. The Archive is a searchable database of every print issue and story that The Hockey News has published during the past 78 years. The app is basically a non-searchable PDF version of the print magazine that, up until Feb. 15, 2025, was available in the Google Play store and in the Apple app store. When trying to compare the two platforms, think of the digital Archive as a 2025 Corvette and the digital app as a 2005 Corvette: both are great cars, but the newer one has more features, is much more…
