When researching as an independent school teacher several years ago, I came across the concept of forest and nature schools. I remember thinking what an innovative idea it was to have a classroom outdoors. And how beneficial it would be to my oldest son, who was around five years old at the time. So it was first a dream, then a goal, and then a reality when I was finally able to bring it to fruition four years ago.
