Forrest, who had also not complied with an unpaid work requirement of his order, was arrested and appeared in the dock in custody this week, where he pleaded guilty to 10 counts of shop theft. He was jailed for 34 weeks.
Gurjot Kaur, prosecuting at South East Northumberland Magistrates' Court, said Forrest stole from the Co-op seven times between February 16 and March 10 this year, making-off with £1,004.90-worth of goods, and three times from The One Stop, taking £256.55-worth of items.
