Work to start on parking issues

Councillors have agreed on renewed efforts to convert some of the area's more troubled grass verges into additional parking spaces. A Tory motion highlighted that many verges are consistently damaged by vehicles, leading to an “unsightly and hazardous environment" for residents, especially in the Lynn Estate in North Shields.
