Kayla Gilchrist remembers shopping with friends when she was 113kg, when they would try on skimpy, body-hugging outfits and urge her to give them a go, too. “You know they won’t fit,” says the 23-year-old Melbourne nurse, “and you just get embarrassed and upset.
