LETTER FROM THE EDITOR Style and substance are concepts that don’t always naturally align. At Tatler, however, we believe substance forms the essential core of true style. This belief inspired us to recognise chic individuals over the last two decades and to launch our annual Asia’s Most Stylish list in 2020. We honour individuals who not only master the art of personal style but also redefine the very essence of what it means to be stylish in today’s world. This naturally drives us to identify individuals who aren’t necessarily included in conventional fashionista directories. Our cover star this issue, tennis legend Li Na, is a prime example.
