Tatler sits down with three of the region’s premier wedding planners, who reveal the inner workings of bespoke celebrations—from jellyfish centrepieces to importing an entire forest to please the bride and groom

Tatler spoke to three wedding planners—Michele Li, founder of Hong Kong-based The Wedding Company; Singapore-based Lelian Chew, founder of The Wedding Atelier; and Nicole Froelich of Nicole Please Weddings, based in Hong Kong and Zurich—who reveal the sometimes extraordinary demands of their clients. All three see their mission as being to craft weddings that are not only memorable but also deeply personal, celebrating individuality without judgement. These weddings are a marathon affair, as is the preparation, with Froelich admitting to investing more than 600 hours into planning each wedding she does. They spare no detail.
