Transporting guests to the tropical streets of Cuba, this August The Hong Kong Jockey Club curated a colourful world of cocktails, Cuban tapas and neon nights, all reminiscent of Old Havana

In partnership with Tatler Hong Kong, Happy Valley New Clubhouse transformed The Eighth’s Pinnacle and 360 Bar into Club Havana, kicking off a series of spectacular lifestyle events set to offer members an escape from Hong Kong without leaving the city. An impressive turnout took respite from the mid-summer humidity and attended one of the 12 nights of reggaeton beats, summertime sips and Cuban tapas on the eighth floor of the Happy Valley New Clubhouse. Between posting snaps of the floral-covered walls and “street market” foyer to Instagram, attendees walked through the streets of Havana, eventually following signs to Pináculo (“the pinnacle”) where an array of tapas dishes were served by The Eighth’s chef de cuisine Eduardo Gomez.
