THE R COLLECTIVE “START FROM ZERO” COLLECTION LAUNCH

Sustainability is the new black in Hong Kong’s well-heeled circles, which was evident at the recent launch of The R Collective’s “Start From Zero” collection of upcycled wardrobe staples. The ecobrand’s show, which took place at the Old Bailey on a balmy afternoon, drew stylish nature lovers and tastemakers, including Calvin Wang, Yolanda Choy-Tang and Ingrid Chen-Mandonnaud. Guests cooled down with iced kombucha and nibbled vegan canapés as the label’s creative director, Denise Ho, explained how The R Collective is achieving its mission—to reduce fashion’s environmental footprint.
