HSBC is launching its own digital gallery to celebrate artists from near and far

This month, HSBC is opening the Metaverse Gallery, a new digital art space that will showcase the work of both local and international artists. When visitors access HSBC’s Metaverse Gallery, either through the gallery’s dedicated website or a QR code, their experience begins with them meeting their own avatar. After the user chooses either a male or female avatar, the system randomly generates a unique avatar from a pool of more than 20,000 characters. While visitors may log in again with the same generated code to continue with their previous avatar, they also have the option to generate a brand-new one on every gallery journey.
