Call it fate. In 2017, the lives of two women—Nicole “Nic” Mott, an advertising, retail and tech industry professional, and Debbie “Deb” Wong, a TV chef—were about to intertwine in the most unexpected way. In 2015, Mott’s husband received a job offer in Asia; the couple packed their bags and moved from San Francisco to Hong Kong.
