There are two truths and a lie in the following: This is the Arts and Culture issue. We look at tangible artworks in bricks-and-mortar galleries as well as digital creations that exist purely as code in the metaverse. I know everything there is to know about the latter. Unless you happen to be Yat Siu, one of our cover stars this issue, the metaverse may be something of a mystery to you as well, and might evoke more questions than excitement—the chief of which would be “why?”: why does it matter?
