Some might joke that it’s “all downhill” once you’ve reached a certain age—but not Alan Lo, who took a tongue in cheek approach to his 40th birthday this January with a ski trip to Zermatt, Switzerland. He was accompanied by his wife, Yenn Wong, and some of his closest friends—including Adrian Cheng, Ivan Pun and Jonathan Cheung—who descended upon the Alps from Hong Kong, Singapore, London and Paris for the celebration. “I love ski trips, but I can’t say that I’m an expert. I love mountain restaurants, so really I just ski to lunch. That’s my motivation,” says Lo.
