The late, great David Bowie’s influences on fashion were as myriad as the list of characters he channelled. However, of all his personas, Ziggy Stardust provided the richest inspiration for stylists and designers the world over. This flame-haired, eye-patched showman, with his sexually ambiguous, glam androgeny, is perhaps one of the most enduring and iconic images of popular culture.
