Warm and Toasty

Whether knitted mink, classic sable or an electric-blue pelt, the flashes of fur embellishing the ensembles of A-listers added to the luxurious glamour that the Hong Kong Fur Design Competition brought to the InterContinental’s ballroom. Organised by the Young Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Fur Federation, the evening’s theme was Light Infinity, which was evident in the distinctly stark runway lighting. The spectacular show featured three dynamic presentations pitting the competing entries against each other in scenes titled Flash Lights, Exquisite Illuminations and Flamboyant Shine. Our favourite was the final scene, when a variety of colourful dresses featuring intricate fur embellishments graced the runway.
