Vivien Khoo (Asia’s Most Influential 2022) is probably used to being the only woman in the room—or magazine article. But she’s also used to being a leader in that room, and she hopes to open the doors and make space for other women. Before becoming one of Hong Kong’s most prominent thought leaders in fintech and the Web3 space, Khoo had established a solid background in traditional finance. Right before she shifted to crypto, her career had taken her to Goldman Sachs, where she had risen to managing director and co-head of compliance for Asia Pacific ex-Japan.
