Zesty, floral, earthy ... this summer’s perfume releases capture the warm scents of citrus gardens and sun-kissed skin

1 GUCCI THE ALCHEMIST’S GARDEN 1921 Master perfumer Alberto Morillas marks 100 years of Gucci with 1921, the latest addition to the maison’s Alchemist’s Garden collection of vintage-inspired perfumes. Created in collaboration with Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele, it has all the makings of a sweet Italian summer: at the heart of the fragrance is neroli flower, lifted by limone cedrato and oakmoss for an earthy finish. The vintage apothecary-style bottle, dressed in Gucci green glass, of course, looks like a treasure you might find in your nonna’s vanity. 2 TOM FORD SOLEIL BRULANT Few say summer smell of warm sun rays hitting the tanning lotion on your skin (we hope you’re using reef-friendly sun care products this season).
