The brightest lights of the city’s younger generation are about to receive well-deserved recognition with the second edition of our Generation T initiative, writes Marianna Cerini

Last year Hong Kong Tatler’s inaugural Generation T list cast a spotlight on 100 of the city’s brightest young innovators, connectors and disruptive talents under the age of 40. Our July 2016 cover story was dedicated to the project, profiling 14 of the 100 across six pages and four unique cover shots. We also published a Gen T book containing a biography of each inspiring individual. The members of the list came from a wide variety of sectors, from philanthropy and finance to e-commerce and the arts. They embodied the future of Hong Kong—spirited, ambitious and determined—they were the people driving the city forward. This year we return—albeit with a much tighter list.
