DESIGN SIGNATURE By her own account, Bidermann’s designs are typically French, very artistic and oozing with spontaneity. Her pieces were once described as “an encounter between the architectural lines of buildings by Haussmann and the fluidity of a Halston dress.” An anti-purist, the designer favours organic curves over rigid lines, and likes to blur the line between precious gems and costume jewellery. RECENT PROJECT Bidermann’s joie de vivre style is reflected in her spring/ summer collection. Among our favourites are its pendants with natural feathers and gingko and clover dipped in 18K gold and lacquer, and its Maya bracelets made from cotton threads embellished with coloured beads, and the gold Marisa fringe loop earrings.
