The Sandbox co-founder Sébastien Borget reveals the inner workings of his Web3 world and the new virtual Hong Kong within it

Gaming platform The Sandbox recently launched Mega City 2, the second phase of its Hong kong-focused virtual neighbourhood, with land sales opening on April 28, the same day as the fourth episode of the regular Tatler TV: Meta Versed. On the show, The Sandbox’s co-founder and COO Sébastien Borget discussed how he and his team built the popular metaverse; the new features in Mega City 2; how players can themselves be creators within this gaming world; and bridging the gap between reality and the metaverse. Borget said The Sandbox has unlocked infinite possibilities when it comes to allowing “real-world activities” to take place within the digital world.
