With the Paris Olympics just a few months away, it feels fitting to kick off our first issue of 2024 with a sports star on the cover—Emma Raducanu. The tennis player captured global attention when she achieved a historic milestone at the 2021 US Open: at the age of just 19, she made history as the first qualifier in the open era to win a major singles title without dropping a single set throughout the entire tournament. With success comes attention, and along with it, pressure.
