FREAKIN’ CAMOUFLAGED Ulysse Nardin’s Freak One OPS is a bold reinterpretation of the classic Freak One, and was unveiled at Dubai Watch Week last year. Its black DLC titanium casing aside, this 44mm timepiece is presented in a distinctive khaki green. The watch’s innovative bezel is crafted from carbonium, a lightweight, high-strength material sourced from aircraft manufacturing offcuts, a move that reduces its environmental footprint by 40 per cent. The watch’s open face reveals the UN-240 Manufacture movement, with a flying carousel that indicates the minutes; the oscillator and balance spring are showcased in vibrant blue silicon, a nod to the Freak’s innovative history.
