EDWIN KEH Asia’s Most Influential 2022 CEO, Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel Under Edwin Keh’s leadership, the Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel (HKRITA) has earned a reputation for its focus on sustainability. By rethinking the entire process from start to finish, the public research institute has come up with different approaches to lessen the environmental impact of textile production—a much-needed change in an industry that is, according to the UN Economic Commission for Europe, responsible for about 10 per cent of the world’s total carbon emissions.
