A Night at the Museum

On December 2, art lovers went to the Hong Kong Museum of Art (HKMoA) for the 30th anniversary celebration of the Friends of HKMoA, a charitable organisation that has promoted and supported the institution and enhanced the arts landscape in Hong Kong since 1991. Nancy Lee, the organisation’s chairman, took to the stage to thank her peers and predecessors. “We would not be here today without those who walked before us. I would like to honour all past museum chief curators and the past Friends of HKMoA chairmen. Over the years [we have] sponsored museum exhibitions, publications and symposia, and donated works of art.
