The latest addition to Hermès’ iconic Cape Cod collection, which was first designed by artist Henri d’Origny in 1991, the stainless-steel Cape Cod Chaîne d’Ancre is an instantly recognisable timepiece that showcases the watchmaker’s skills in leather craftsmanship. The wristwatch features a double-tour strap with a second loop cleverly shaped to look like an anchor’s chain, which is achieved by using four different layers of leather that are painstakingly cut and stitched.
