Sublimage, therefore, is aptly named: Chanel’s collection of exceptional skincare products takes all the revitalising properties from the vanilla planifolia plant, with the aim to enhancing natural beauty and make even the dullest complexion look dazzling.
Nicola Fuzzati, the director of active ingredient development and innovation for Chanel Research, established an outdoor laboratory in the French Alps in 2010, as a research station for botanicals sourced from the surrounding Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region and the Mediterranean, as well as other destinations around the world that are rich in biodiversity.
