TEACHER’S PET Craig Green completed a BA (Hons) Fashion degree in print before taking Central Saint Martins’ internationally respected MA Fashion course under the late, great Louise Wilson’s mentorship. WHAT A PLANK! Although widely lauded by the press, the 27-year-old designer’s first collection (shown at London Collections: Men in 2013 as part of Topman and Fashion East’s MAN initiative) included face-framing wooden sculptures that were openly mocked by David Gandy on live television, while the Daily Mail wrote a scathing critique headlined “What a Plank!”— one of Green’s favourite review quotes to date.
