S.T. Dupont hosted a glamorous soirée to fête the brand’s new direction and the introduction of a refreshed retail concept, unveiled simultaneously in Paris and Hong Kong in December 2023. The celebration marked Dupont’s enthusiastic return to the realm of leather goods, with the reintroduction of women’s leather accessories and the launch of new men’s and unisex collections. While S.T. Dupont is perhaps best known today for its elegant lighters—it made one of the world’s first luxury lighters, famously used by such tastemakers as Pablo Picasso and Jacqueline Kennedy-Onassis—the brand’s earliest roots lie in the production of luxury trunks and travel equipment.
