Golfers tee off to help Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centre

It raised more than HK$650,000 for Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centre last year, but the centre has upped the ante for the second edition of its Charity Golf Day, setting a target of HK$1 million. Some 108 golfers in 27 teams, including China-Hong Kong Photo Products CEO Stanley Sun, will put on a display of altruistic sportsmanship at Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club on February 2 after a ceremonial tee-off by organising committee chairman Ronald Lu and board of governors chairman Kathryn Greenberg. The friendly competition will be followed by cocktails and a buffet, lucky draw and prize-giving ceremony.
