Caroline Scheufele’s schedule is relentless. When she’s not running watch and jewellery brand Chopard alongside her co-president brother, Karl-Friedrich, the artistic director is crossing continents attending boutique openings, press conferences, film festivals, movie premieres and various exclusive events. At the annual watch and jewellery extravaganza that is Baselworld, she gives upwards of 50 interviews over the course of four days. Today, though, Scheufele, on the way home from visiting Chopard’s new boutique in Macau, is giving just one.
