THE SOIREES STAGED around the world by the American Foundation for Aids Research (amFAR) lure the glitterati to party in the name of medical science, and amfAR’s second Hong Kong event promises a repeat of last year’s dazzling success. Taking place once again at Shaw Studios on Saturday March 19, the gala will draw an exciting range of local and international guests, including celebrities and famous names from the worlds of entertainment, fashion, business and philanthropy. Leading businesswoman and philanthropist Pansy Ho is the chair. Event co-chairs include Cathy Lee, Carina Lau, David Tang, Dee Poon, Michelle Ong-Cheung, Michelle Yeoh and Silas Chou.
